Discuss RoadmapSports API Development History and Product Roadmap
Starting in 2014 as a humble football score parser, SportApi has grown into a high-tech sports data provider with global coverage. Over the years, we have consistently expanded the number of supported sports, optimized latency, and developed interactive widgets. In June 2026, we took a huge step forward by releasing 3D match tracking and live streaming widgets.
Our future plans are aimed at simplifying integration for sports portal owners and bookmakers. The launch of the pre-built Sportsbook Widget in September 2026 will allow clients to deploy a full betting interface with lines and slips in just a few clicks, saving hundreds of hours of design and development. By 2030, we will introduce AI-powered predictions, mobile SDKs, and global Edge distribution nodes.
